Prayer Opportunities
As a group of Christ-followers, there’s nothing more important we can be doing than to invest time in prayer together. About the early church, Acts 1:14 says, “They all joined together constantly in prayer…” They knew the importance of seeking God’s heart and direction and asking for His guidance, wisdom, and divine intervention for every aspect of their lives. We must do the same.
2025 Prayer & Fast Days (January 5 – 7) @ 6:30 PM each night
Each night on January 5-7 we will meet at 6:30pm to pray and fast together. Along with that we will have the church auditorium
Fasting: Let’s give up some physical food for spending time in prayer and fasting. Let’s do it together. Here are a couple opportunities for you (and us, together) to spend time in prayer and in God’s word in the church auditorium on Monday & Tuesday (Jan. 6 & 7):
Noon - 1 PM (Non-structured & Drop-in)
5:30 - 6:30 PM (Non-structured & Drop-in)
Fasting: Pray about how God might want you to fast as you focus on prayer at the beginning of a new year. Read the following article for some excellent and biblical teaching about the spiritual discipline of fasting – What Is Biblical Fasting, and How Does It Work?
Up-Coming Prayer Encounters (Sundays @ 4 PM):
February 2
March 2
April 6
We take a variety of approaches in these prayer gatherings (that are typically 60 – 75 minutes) and focus on various prayer points from month to month. We’re confident you’ll be encouraged by engaging with us at Prayer Encounter!
