Connecting With Others in the Eaglemont Family

Did you know that in the past 18 months, we have had almost 90 new families or individuals visit Eaglemont Church on a Sunday morning? That means that every week there is likely someone in the gathering who has attended for the first time in the past month. We are excited that so many people are checking out what God is doing at Eaglemont Church, and we want every one of them to feel welcome. That’s why we ask each individual attending in-person on Sundays to find someone that they haven’t met before and introduce themselves. That means that even if you are new to Eaglemont in the past few weeks, it’s important that you take the initiative to introduce yourself to someone.

You never know – that person might be new also and you are both waiting for someone to say ‘hi’. We know that finding friends in a new church is essential to people choosing to make a church their “home church” were they settle and serve, so we encourage you to take the first step in building those relationships, not just on Sunday mornings but also throughout the week. Exchange phone numbers. Text for a meet up at the park with your kids or for a coffee at a local coffee shop. Each person has a part to play in creating the meaningful relationships that make a church a welcoming place and make it ‘family’.

We encourage everyone, even if you’re new to Eaglemont Church, to reach out and begin to build those relationships.
